Subscription Rates for the JSOM for 2012

The Annual Training Supplement is available through our JSOM Online Store for individual purchase of $35.00 plus shipping.

The Training Supplement is no longer available as part of the JSOM subscription; however, if you purchase a subscription, your subscription confirmation email will provide you with the discount code to be used at the Online Store that will give you the subscription discounted rate of $10 off the stand alone purchase price.  You are still getting the same discounted rate as before when the Training Supplement was offered as part of a subscription, but as a service to you, breaking them apart allows us to ship the Training Supplement separately ahead of the next scheduled quarterly journal.

Regardless of the subscription option you choose, you will be asked to create an account and password. Those selecting the print only will be able to create a profile enabling us to stay in contact with you via email or other means. Those selecting the digital option will also have access to our subscriber's area.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

All personally identifying information is confidential and will not be shared with anybody. The Journal of Special Operations Medicine (JSOM), Breakaway Media, LLC, and agents will not give away, sell, or otherwise distribute any information you provide during the subscription process. Providing an email and/or mailing address during the subscription process authorizes Breakaway Media, LLC and its agents to contact you periodically via regarding important information regarding the JSOM or other items of interest concerning the profession. These mailings will not contain solicitations from agencies or businesses not directly affiliated with the JSOM or Breakaway Media, LLC.

SECURITY

Breakaway Media, LLC, uses 128-bit encryption on Secure Socket Layer (SSL, or https:) to ensure secure communications. Before submitting any credit card information on any website, please ensure that website is protected by SSL.

SALES

Print and electronic subscriptions to the JSOM are on an annual basis and may begin at any time. All sales are final. Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time. In the event a subscription is cancelled prior to the end of the subscription term, Breakaway Media, LLC will fulfill the terms of the subscription. Unused portions of Electronic or Print subscriptions will not be refunded. Electronic subscribers will continue to have access to the members area of the website until the normal termination of the subscription term. Print subscribers will continue to receive the full print subscription.

ACCESS TO SUBSCRIBERS AREA

Access to the electronic portion of the website will begin immediately upon acceptance of payment and will continue until midnight one year from the date of the subscription. The JSOM is published four times per year with one training supplement. Print subscribers will receive all four issues and the training supplement, starting with with the next issue to be published. Passwords to the subscription area and copyrighted material available through the subscriber's area is intended for the sole use of the subscriber. Sharing usernames and passwords or distributing either paper or electronic copies of copyrighted material is a violation of these terms of service and are grounds for immediate termination of the subscriber's access to this site. No refunds will be issued.

RENEWALS

When subscribing to either the electronic or print version of the JSOM, subscribers will have the option to have their subscription renew automatically on an annual basis. Subscribers choosing this option will receive an email approximately 30 days prior to the renewal date to as a reminder that the subscription will automatically be renewed. Breakaway Media, LLC is not responsible for mistyped email addresses or email accounts that are terminated prior to receipt of the reminder email. It is the subscriber's responsibility to cancel their subscription prior to the automatic renewal.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Card may be presented as acceptable forms of payment. All forms of payment must be presented in US Dollars.

DELIVERY METHODS

All print media will be shipped Book Rate via US Post. Subscribers using APO/FPO boxes or overseas addresses can expect their journal to be delivered in 10-14 business days.
